A professional strongman since 1989, Tjalling Van Den Bosch is both an athlete and a contradiction. His strong man feats are well documented, like world record holder titles in car and truck pulls, and Dutch strongest man titles and records.
He also has a fascinating interest in why men want to be the strongest. And fastest. He studied psychology in Finland and has been putting his knowledge and
experience to good use training professional soccer players, speed skaters, track and field athletes and cyclists. His mental approach is also popular with companies, which have invited him to give inspirational talks.
Tjalling is also a popular TV and movie personality in the Netherlands. He has appeared as a host on a game show for 3-1/2 years in Neng is also a popular TV and movie personality. The most famous movie being "Bulls Eye" with Roger Moore and Michael Caine.
Even though Tjalling has founded an organization dedicated to developing the strong man concept ("Pure Strength"), he also loves to play a game that demands the most from his mind (Draughts). In fact he even ranks in the top 100 in the world!
